Doug, Vickie and the Whole Charging Rhino Crew-

"I just wanted to take a moment and put into words how pleased I am, and have been with you guys, your commitment to this breed and dogs alike. First off, I don't think there are two more down to earth, caring dog loving people in this world. You two are just your average americans with way above average hearts and personas! You are relaxing, fun and true enjoyment to be around whether in the company of dogs or just us humans!! I know there are many others like you in this world, and ALL canines are so lucky that people like you exist! I know that you have a strong love and beliefs in how any dog should be treated, and I'm just especially thankful, that you two put your devotion and commitment and interest in the same breed that I love, the Cane Corso. I know you two would fight tooth and nail for this breed. I know that you two will always work to promote the Cane Corso in a positive light, push its boundaries and help prove that it is the BEST breed out there( I know that is a little prejudice on my part, but I do think its the best breed!!). I know that you to put your heart and soul, countless hours of time, money and devotion, blood sweat and tears into pushing this breed to its capabilities. I personally thank you for being so devoted to the breed that I love!

I met Doug and Vickie about three and a half years ago at a dog show. I was instantly impressed as they showed an instant chemistry for this breed and equally impressive was there 'down to earth' personas! They were my kind of people, and I could tell that right off. We shared not only a love for this breed, but shortly there after, we were 'family' as their first CC was out of the same kennel and same sire as my boy Wedo. I've felt like family ever since, and they've treated me no less since day one. All my family is in Arizona, a short drive from Doug and Vickie. So being out there at least once a year, it was nice to stay in contact and see what these two wonderful people were doing with their dogs. I have always been welcomed to join them and the dogs. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend a few of the trainings they are involved with in personal protection and bite work. Nothing short of AMAZING to see any dog work, but to see the breed I love work...and work so well, needeless to say, I was at a loss for words. I've always had a slight preference for Tuco as he and my dog are closely related, but I've always just liked him. I've also always liked his and Wedos sire, Winnie. I've always wanted to have an availability to that bloodline as I feel they possess a strong work drive. When my boy Wedo was diagnosed with HD, I knew I could never breed him, but I still wanted to have something closely related. I really wasn't 'looking' to get a pup at the time, but one day, while talking with Doug, he had mentioned he had one male left and he felt very strongly that his puppy would be in good hands with me in Colorado. Now, being a TRUE dog lover, and truly being a responsible breeder, Doug executed a move, a swap of two of his puppies. This move was not dirty or underhanded, rather RESPONIBLE and caring. He had a client, that had never had a large, dominant breed before. This was to be their first Cane Corso, so naturally Doug wanted them to get the best possible fit for both dog and human alike. He and Vickie worked on these pups temperments and personalities so well. They did some temperment tests, to get a feel for where dogs were in line of which dogs fit into certain lifestyles of clients. The puppy that I was going to get, had a little less dominant, a little easier going temperment. Bakari, as he's now known, seemed to show a bit more dominance, a bit more drive and Doug felt that my experience with the breed, my experience with working in weightpull and channeling the drive to work, my experience with having multiple CC in a household...with no BAD experiences would do better for this puppy and equally the other family would get a better fit for their lifestyle too! From my side, and from what I've seen, the other families side, this move/swap only worked out for the best! I have been truly blessed with Bakari. He's a rare one!! His name in Swahili means "one that shows great promise"...now how I stumbled across that name???? It must have been a sign, because he TRULY shows GREAT PROMISE. I cannot thank Doug and Vickie and Tuco and Wraith enough for allowing me the opportunity to own such a wonderful animal! His temperment is terriffic, his confirmation is outstanding, he's beautiful and he's got confidence and drive that I feel are limitless. While no CC or dog is perfect, Bakari at this point has few faults. Bakari's parents are good working dogs, healthy, hip tested and we are hoping that Bakari can continue in that blessed way! He has no where to go but up and we are really excited about the potential he exhibits at such an early age. At one year and one month old Bakari is 25 and 1/2 inches at the shoulder and 105lbs. I've put him in a pulling harness and took him out to train one time with some experienced friends. They were very pleased with his abilities and said all he needed was some training and he could be very good at the sport. So, in about 4-6 months, we'll look to start training for competitive weight pull. With the drive that Bakari seems to possess, I am also very interested in trying him at some type of bite work as well! The one thing that is special about Bakari, is that I am fortunate enough to say that I was able to take him and keep in such close contact with Doug and Vickie that it keeps not only our ideas and thoughts, but help and advice is always right there for me. We are family and I am very thankful for that, I'm pretty lucky I guess to be blessed with such a good dog and such good friends. I know that if something ever arised, God forbid, that if I needed them to, all three of my CC would have a good home to take them in and care for them!!

Doug and Vickie are two good people, bottom line!! They truly care about this breed. Anyone blessed with knowing them will tell you, you'll not find two more devoted or caring people. I'd recommend them as breeders to anyone, especially homes that plan on doing some type of sport or working activities. I'd recommend them to anyone as friends as they are genuine, kind and good natured...not to mention fun to be around. Charging Rhino Cane Corso, is devoted to the Cane Corso, and they will always have my support, I stand behind them 100%. If you ever have a question that is dog related, you can call them and they'll work their tails off trying to help answer those question, CC related or any other dog question alike!

Thank you Doug and Vickie for blessing me with an AWESOME dog and a lifelong friendship!!"

Sincerly,
Frank Pineda & Bakari
