Bakari & Puma
 
Litter DOB: 05/11/07

     Bakari and Puma share a certain relative that we believe shines in both of these dogs.  He is excellent of health, movement, and temperment.  He is an ICCF and ARBA Champion and his name is Valor.  He can be seen on the Lords page at castleguardcanecorso.com  The reason I bring him up is because both of the dogs parenting this litter display, as well as, outmatch his qualities.  Both are very playfull, goofy dogs with unmatched sociability and stable mindedness while also displaying the legendary guard dog attributes attributed to the Cane Corso.  Both also have recently been reported to have even better hips than their ancestry.  Puma came back rated by Pennhip as 90th percentile with distraction indexes (DI) of .45 and .39.  Bakari came back rated with a whopping >90th percentile and DI's of .37 and .33.  We couldn't be more excited.  Bakari and Puma are both the epitomy of good dogs and are a pleasure to watch in motion.  When our new vet saw Puma for the first time trotting across the floor of his clinic's lobby he said, "Now THAT dog's got a great ass!"  Cool vet right?  Ha, Ha!!  With this litter we will be breaking our rule of only choosing one male and female pup to sell with a show/breed contract.  We are confident that there will be two of each!

Bakari & Konga
 
Litter DOB: 05/13/07

     Pairing Bakari and Konga is a combination we've been waiting for. Both of these Cane Corso posses the attitude we like to see in the breed, one of a friendly nature backed up by a rawness that speaks of the old, working-minded Cane Corso. Both are very driven in defense with Konga bringing a bit more prey drive to the table. Bakari's build will bring a lot of bone and muscle density into the mix and both should lend a lot of agility and athleticism to their puppies. We are expecting puppies with good conformation, an intense attitude and a very social and intelligent demeanor. These pups, we expect, will be the total package we speak about here in the website, but to the n-th degree.
